Track & FIeld Officials

We are actively recruiting individuals wishing to become Track & Field Officials. Officiating is a rewarding experience and is invaluable to our program. We take great pride in having a large contingent of local Track & Field officials in the Bridgeport area and also for having many of our group work meets across the state including the WV STATE MEET.

To become an official is a simple process. You fill out a registration form and complete a 100 question open-book test. Assistance is available with the test. Initially the fee is $32.00, but that fee can be waived in future years by working the WV State Meet. Working local meet and the State Meet gives you access to the track and field event areas where regular spectators aren’t allowed. Plus you will be able to help Bridgeport High School continue to provide well run, efficient, organized meets at Wayne Jamison Field. Please consider becoming a certified Track & Field official.
